The Sierra Leone Female Musicians Association (SLFMA) in collaboration with the United Nations, Care International and other private entities such as TiGO (Millicom), will organize a first ever nationwide musical tour starting this Saturday March 8th 2008 (International Women’s Day). The tour aims to mobilise resources to assist development partners and the Government in addressing issues affecting women in contemporary Sierra Leone. This was disclosed in a press conference at the Sierra Leone News Agency (SLNA) yesterday Tuesday 4th March 2008.
