REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
The Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources, has received a loan from the African Development Bank (ADB) to finance the Artisanal Fisheries Development Project (AFDEP). It intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract for consulting to undertake audit service and express an independent professional opinion on the financial statement of the AFDEP Project for the Financial Year 2009.
The Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources now invites consulting firms to express their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide statements of capability and experience indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignment, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc). This advertisement is open to consulting firms from eligible countries. A shortlist of five firms will be compiled in accordance with the procedures set out by the African Development Bank’s, Rules and Procedures for the Use of Consultants. Only shortlisted firms will be contacted for further information.
Written expression of interest must be delivered to the address below by hand delivery latest Monday 22nd March, 2010 at 11:00 hrs.
