A middle aged man called Alfred Lee was arraigned before Magistrate Bankole Shyllon of the Freetown Magistrate Court No.3 on Wednesday 3rd February 2010 to answer to two count assault related charges.
Alfred Lee stands accused of committing various offences ranging from wounding to assault occasioning to actual bodily harm. The alleged offences were committed against the complainant, Mario Kamara.
The accused person pleaded not guilty to both count charges.
Defence counsel applied for bail on grounds that he is a peaceful Sierra Leonean that will not evade court orders nor interfere with the witnesses.
Presiding Magistrate Shyllon granted the accused person bail in the sum of Le2,000,000 (Two Million Leones) and adjourned the matter to Friday 12th February 2010.
