The customers of International Insurance Company (SL) Ltd, (IIC), the fastest growing insurance Company in Sierra Leone, were last Friday at the banquet hall of Hotel Bintumani, hosted by the Company, to a befitting Cocktail party.

While welcoming the guests to the august occasion, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IIC, Nduka Anyaso, expressed the company’s joy and satisfaction with the customers for their patronage these past years. He said the objective of the get-together, which was the maiden one, was to thank the customers for their support and foster closer social interaction with all the company’s stakeholders. The CEO reiterated the company’s desire to maintain its leading edge in customer service and seized the opportunity to highlight some of the special products of the company which includes the popular Medical and Health Insurance policy, which he explained, was to cater for the medical needs of all and sundry in Sierra Leone.

Also speaking at the occasion, the Company’s Board Chairman, Henry Akin Macauley, was full of thanks to the customers, whom he acknowledged the company owes all its successes so far, to. He said the company would not have been where it is today, without the support and patronage of the customers. He enjoined them to remain steadfast with the company, while promising them of the company’s continued improvement in all spheres of product development, customer relationship and guaranteed satisfaction. In his own remarks, the Group Vice Chairman of FIB Group, the majority shareholders of IIC, Festus Abone, thanked the customers for their patronage. He congratulated the customers for their unwavering support and patronage and confirmed that the majority shareholders were impressed with the performance of the company and thus ready to recapitalize the company any time there was need for it. He pointed out that IIC is an international company, with affiliates in four other countries. He noted that the existing and potential customers should feel free to insure whatever volume of policy they desire, confirming that the company has the capacity and wherewithal to undertake any volume of risk.

The highlight of the occasion was the presentation of awards to deserving customers, which was done by the Group Vice Chairman, Festus Abone and the IIC’s Board Vice Chairman, Chief Tony Chinyere, who congratulated the award recipients for their exemplary business relationship with the company. Some of the key customers were specially introduced to the audience by the Compeer of the occasion, Jabez Rogers-Wright and those of them that spoke were full of praises for the Company.
